Sánchez has expressed to Espot his satisfaction with the Association Agreement with the European Union, whose negotiations were concluded under the Spanish presidency. Both leaders agreed that this Agreement will be beneficial for both parties, including the territories bordering Andorra, while at the same time sending a message of unity at a crucial moment for Europe.

Among other issues, the President of the Government of Spain and the Prime Minister of Andorra reviewed the increase in electricity interconnections, which is essential to guarantee energy independence and move towards a green transition, and cross-border cooperation.

In this sense, the meeting has once again demonstrated the good harmony and fluidity of bilateral relations between neighbouring countries.
