The Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, has stressed that the adoption of Maximum Catch Totals (TACs) and multi-annual quotas for some species from 2024, which was one of the main objectives of the Spanish presidency of the Council of the EU, will bring more stability to fisheries management and will allow better business planning for shipowners.
