The President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, held a meeting this morning, at Moncloa Palace, with Thomas Schinecker, the chief executive of the Roche Group and chair of the Biopharmaceutical CEOs Roundtable (BCR), which brings together the chief executives of the world's 17 leading innovative pharmaceutical companies.

In it, they analysed the main challenges facing a key sector such as the pharmaceutical industry and the measures that need to be taken to ensure that Europe and Spain play a leading role in innovation.
