The meeting continued to discuss preparations for the upcoming NATO Summit. NATO Summit to be held in Madrid on 29 and 30 June. Spain, a country committed to the Alliance, is hosting this historic summit at a key moment in the wake of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. During the Summit, the 30 Allies will adopt NATO's new Strategic Concept, which will guide the organisation's vision for the next 10 years.

Sánchez and Stoltenberg, who had already held several working meetings over the weekend, also discussed the NATO membership applications of Sweden and Finland, which have Spain's support. Both countries will attend the Summit at the invitation of our country.
