In the last week, between 20 and 26 November, the regional governments have performed a total of 628,592 PCR tests, an average of 89,798 a day.

In addition, from 20 to 26 November, the regional governments have performed a total of 265,928 antigen tests (37,989 a day). Including the PCR tests performed, this amounts to a total of 894,520 diagnostic tests over the course of the week, 127,788 a day. Accordingly, the number of diagnostic tests has increased by 5%, at a rate of 386.04 tests per 1,000 inhabitants.

New techniques are gradually being developed for the diagnosis of the infection caused by SARS-Cov2, such as the rapid antigen tests that the Regional Health Departments are starting to introduce to manage the pandemic.
