The Fourth Vice-President of the Government and Minister for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, Teresa Ribera, welcomed the approval by the Ecological Transition Committee of the Lower House of Parliament of the draft Climate Change and Energy Transition Act and its submission to the Upper House - a text that establishes the targets to attain the full decarbonisation of the economy by the year 2050 with a 100% renewable electricity system.

In seasonally-adjusted terms, industry has recorded a rise in the number of workers every month since June 2020, as has construction, all bar one month. Without this adjustment, the average number of people in work stood at 18,920,902, up 70,790 on the figure for February.
