29th Portugal-Spain Summit to be held on 29 and 30 May

28/05/2017. The main thematic issue of the bilateral Summit between Spain and Portugal, which will take place in Vila Real (Portugal), is cross-border cooperation. Precisely in relation to this issue, the structure of this Summit is singular, since it will start in Spain and end in Portugal.

    ​Spanish economy posts 3% growth in first quarter due to investment and exports


    According to the National Accounting data published by the INE, the Spanish economy posted an annual growth rate of 3% in the first quarter of the year and 0.8% quarter-on-quarter, one-tenth higher than in the previous quarter. This reflects a continuation of the strong economic growth due, in part, to investment and translates into the creation of 435,000 full-time equivalent jobs over the last year.
