Government of Spain maintains same resources for Operation Strait of Gibraltar Passage in 2013 following favourable results in previous years
The Under-secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Luis Aguilera, and the Wali, Director of Migration and Border Control in Morocco, Khalid Zerouali, presided over the meeting of the Spain-Morocco Joint Committee for Operation Strait of Gibraltar Passage 2013 at the ministerial headquarters. The purpose of the meeting was to analyse the most important aspects of planning Operation Strait of Gibraltar Passage, as well as to adopt any pertinent decisions for its proper implementation.
Spain maintains export growth
In the first quarter of the year, Spanish exports grew by 3.9% on the same period of 2012 to 56.58 billion euros. The pace of growth has thus accelerated when compared with the figures recorded at the start of last year - 3.2% for the quarter. In contrast, Spanish imports amounted to 60.63 billion euros.
Spain and another 44 countries agree to strengthen efforts against tax havens and opacity
On Friday in Moscow, Spain and another 44 members of the OECD Forum on Tax Administration (FTA) announced a firm commitment to strengthening their efforts against tax havens and opacity.

Central Government of Spain posts deficit to March of 1.53% of GDP in national accounting terms
The Ministry of the Treasury and Public Administration Services has published the national accounts data from the Central Government of Spain, the regional governments and the Social Security system to March 2013.
