Contributory pensions for May 2013 amount to 7.73 billion euros
According to the statistics released on Thursday by the Spanish Social Security system, the monthly total of contributory pensions paid out by the system amounted to 7.73 billion euros at 1 May 2013. This is an increase of 5% on the same month of 2012.

Spain visited by 4.6 million inbound tourists in April, the best figure in five years
14 million tourists arrived in the first four months of the year, 2.5% more than in 2012. The top emitting markets were the United Kingdom, France and Germany. Catalonia was the top destination in the month (with 1.2 million tourists), while the Balearic Islands and the Region of Valencia posted the largest increases when compared with last year.
