  • Member of the Lower House for Barcelona during the 10th Legislature.
  • Member of the National Executive Committee of the Partido Popular.
  • Third Deputy Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament during the 9th Legislature.
  • Member of the Lower House of Parliament during the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Legislatures for the Province of Barcelona. General Secretary of the Popular Parliamentary Group in the Lower House of Parliament during the 8th Legislature (2004-2008).
