Where?

The conference will take place at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Sevilla (FIBES), located at Avenida Alcalde Luis Uruñuela, 1, 41020, Seville.

During meetings, a security area will be set up around the venue. Only registered vehicles and accredited participants will be allowed to enter the security zone.

Given the high volume of expected attendees, participants are advised to arrive at the venue well in advance to ensure timely access, especially on 30 June.

Registration and accreditation

For more information on registration, participants are kindly requested to consult the conference website.

Accreditation collection will take place at the accreditation centre, located in front of FIBES 2, between 26 June and 3 July 2025. For more information on accreditation collection times and options, please refer to the Information Note published by the United Nations on the Conference website.

Visas

For information on the countries whose nationals must be in possession of a visa, and those whose nationals are exempt from this requirement to enter Spain, together with information on Visa Processing Offices, please consult:

https://www.exteriores.gob.es/es/ServiciosAlCiudadano/Documents/General-information-on-visas-FfD4.xlsx.

Please note that the visa requirement must be fulfilled prior to arrival in Spain; visas cannot be issued on arrival.

Participants are therefore strongly advised to check whether they need a visa to enter Spain and to submit their visa application as early as possible, and preferably at least 5 weeks before the opening of the Conference. A late submission may make it impossible to process the application in time.

How to get to Seville

Seville Airport is located to the east, ten 10 kilometres from the centre of the capital and has a wide range of national and international flights. From Seville Airport it is possible to get to the centre of Seville in just 15 minutes by taxi and in about 35 minutes if you opt for the public bus.

Seville has excellent train connections with most of Spain's main cities. Trains are operated by three companies: RENFE, Ouigo and Iryo.

The Santa Justa train station is well connected to the Conference venue by the RENFE local train line C4.

The bus is usually the cheapest option, but depending on the city of origin the journey can be long. The Plaza de Armas Bus Station is the main bus station in Seville for medium and long distance routes. The Seville-San Bernardo Bus Station also connects with several cities, although it is not as big as the one in Plaza de Armas.

Getting around Seville

  • City buses: TUSSAM has 55 lines connecting the whole city. Three city bus lines have stops close to the conference location: 27, LE (East Express) and B4.
  • Metro: the Seville Metro, with a train frequency of every four minutes, runs throughout the city centre and connects it with its outlying areas.
  • Tram: The public tram, Metrocentro, runs through the city centre.
  • Cercanías: the Palacio de Congresos station on the Cercanías trainline C4 connects the city centre with FIBES in 10 minutes, with departures every 30 minutes.
  • Cycling: the city has almost 200 kilometres of cycle lanes and there is a municipal public bicycle service, Sevici.
  • Taxis/VTC: Seville offers a wide range of taxi and VTC services. Taxis in Seville are distinguished by their white colour, with a yellow stripe on the side.
  • Shuttle buses: as a complement to public transport, the organisers will provide participants with a special shuttle bus service that will connect different areas of the historic centre of Seville with FIBES during the days of the Conference. A shuttle service will also be provided between Seville Airport and FIBES.

Participants are strongly advised to use public transport or transport provided by the organisation. Access by car to FIBES is reserved for the organisation's official caravans. For security and traffic reasons, there is no parking in the immediate vicinity of the venue.

Accommodation

Spain, and Seville in particular, are very popular tourist destinations, especially during the summer. To ensure availability, participants are strongly advised to start preparing their accommodation and travel arrangements as early as possible.
