The President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, held a meeting at the Moncloa Palace with representatives of the National Confederation of SMEs (Conpymes). Likewise, the President of the Government of Spain highlighted the key role of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Spanish productive fabric and gave an assessment of the policies deployed by the Executive to support SMEs. In particular, he looked at the positive impact of the Recovery Plan, especially in terms of digitalisation, training and internationalisation. More than 700,000 micro, small and medium-sized enterprises have already benefited from the Recovery Plan's successful calls for proposals, which have received 41% of the Next Generation funds.
