A meeting that follows the designation of Bilbao as the seat of the Secretariat of the Local Coalition 2030. This brings the number of UN organisations in Spain to six.
During the meeting they reviewed the situation created by the overlapping crises facing the international community: the energy crisis, the food security crisis and the climate emergency. The deputy secretary-general is confident that the Government's commitment to multilateralism will allow Spain to play a pivotal role in the EU in the search for answers to these crises.
