Pedro Sánchez underlines the Government's commitment to the cutting-edge health sector, with an investment of 1.4 billion euros

This Sunday, the President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, visited the Biolan Health facilities in Zamudio, Vizcaya, to reaffirm the Government's commitment to the cutting-edge health sector, within the framework of its commitment to science and innovation, as an element of progress and dynamism of our economy, in order to achieve a fair recovery.
During his visit, Sánchez underlined the public contribution of the recently approved PERTE for Vanguard Health, which foresees an investment of more than 1.469 billion euros until 2023 and which will generate around 12,700 new jobs.
The head of the Executive has also highlighted the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research (PEICTI) 2021-2023 and has valued the Government's commitment to the public health system, to which Biolan Health contributes with its experience in biotechnology, electrochemistry and electronics; and has the support of the Centre for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI), which since 2016 has funded four projects with more than 1.5 million euros.
