President of the Government urges international community to develop a "Marshall Plan" for Arab countries experiencing popular revolt

During his visit to Qatar, the President of the Government, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, made a statement on Al Jazeera saying that the international community should be ready to launch a financial support operation and implement a "Marshall Plan" for those Arab countries in which the people are currently protesting.
As regards the situation in Libya and Tunisia, the President of the Government believes that we must "wait and see how the situation develops" and be ready to provide support when necessary.
