The President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, met with the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, to discuss the situation in Ukraine and reaffirm Spain's commitment to continue supporting Ukraine until the end of the war.

During the meeting, they discussed President Sánchez's consistent stance regarding the defence of Ukraine's territorial integrity and support for its accession to the European Union, also highlighting the importance of advancing the European security architecture.

President Sánchez highlighted Spain's recent contribution of several high-power generators that will assist more than 14,000 people affected by damage to essential energy infrastructure, reinforcing support for the Ukrainian population.
