The meeting discussed possibilities for a ceasefire and new initiatives to push Russia to cease its aggression.

Spain remains firmly committed to supporting Ukraine in all areas. Material aid is channelled through the bilateral security agreement, which commits €1 billion this year. Spain continues with the training of Ukrainian military personnel, which now exceeds 8,000 troops, has expressed its intention to join the PURL initiative within the framework of NATO and has announced the donation, through AECID, of 70 electricity generators to help Ukraine cope with the winter.
