The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, spoke by videoconference at the meeting of the Coalition of the Willing held in Paris, in which some twenty heads of government took part. The purpose of the meeting was to review progress on security guarantees for Ukraine and to discuss the collective strategy towards Russia.

President Sánchez stressed the importance of maintaining pressure on Russia to accept a ceasefire and thereby move towards a just and lasting peace.

He also shared with the other leaders the need to count on the Ukrainian people to reach an agreement on Ukraine because, as he underlined, security in Europe cannot be discussed without the voice of Europeans.
