The President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, met at the Moncloa Palace with the European Vice-President for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness, Roxana Mînzatu. The two discussed the roadmap for further progress in building a European Union that combines competitiveness and social progress.

The President of the Government of Spain stressed the need to develop the European Union's Social Pillar, paying special attention to policies such as access to housing - with measures such as greater industrialisation of the sector - and the fight against poverty. He also stressed the importance of continuing to promote education and quality jobs with initiatives aimed at attracting talent and strengthening workers' rights.
