The President of the Government of Spain talks by telephone with the King of Jordan, the President of Egypt and the President of the Palestinian Authority

These talks are a continuation of the round of contacts that the president of the Government of Spain made with the main actors in the region, as well as with other European countries, to promote a diplomatic solution that offers a horizon of peace, security and prosperity to the region through the recognition of Palestine as a state.

The president reaffirmed Spain's commitment to the materialisation of the two-state solution and also thanked these countries for their efforts to mediate in the conflict and deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.

In this regard, the president conveyed to them the need to work together to push the parties towards a political process that will bring peace, security and prosperity to the region.
