Pedro Sánchez underlines Spain's commitment to Paris Agreement and 2030 Agenda

In a video recorded for the occasion, Pedro Sánchez declared Spain's support for Costa Rica's Plan, which he described as "ambitious, pioneering and inspiring" in the fight against the climate emergency the planet is suffering from, and underlined our country's commitment to the Paris Agreement and to the 2030 Agenda.
Along this line, the President of the Government pointed out that the commitment by the Government of Spain to sustainability is unwavering, prioritising to that end a green, inclusive and fair economic recovery. He stated that Spain wishes to continue actively participating in a multilateral response that rises to the circumstances, together with other countries committed to climate neutrality, such as Costa Rica.
Lastly, Pedro Sánchez recalled the upcoming events on climate targets at which Spain will play an active role: the Kunming COP15 on the preservation of biodiversity, and the Glasgow COP26 to raise climate ambition.
