President of the Government of Spain holds working lunch with military chiefs at Moncloa Palace

At the meeting, President of the Government Sánchez reviewed with the minister and the military chiefs the current situation of the troops and particularly showed his appreciation for the efforts made by the three forces over recent months, firstly in the fight against the coronavirus and now through their deployment during the snow and cold snap, as well as on military missions overseas on peacekeeping operations within the framework of the United Nations (UN); the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the European Union (EU).

Almost 3,000 servicemen are participating on 16 international missions, recently extended until the end of 2021. The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, recently took the opportunity to greet these units, in the traditional message to the troops on 24 December.
