Following the recommendations of the Technical Committee and, after notifying the social stakeholders, the President of the Government took the decision that all those working in non-essential activities should stay at home between 30 March and 9 April, both inclusive.

The measure will be approved at an extraordinary Council of Ministers, to be held by video-conference on Sunday, to thus limit reduce personal mobility, helping reduce the risk of contagion and easing pressure on intensive care units at hospitals.

Now is the time to step up measures with responsibility and sacrifice; it is only in this way that we will win the battle, stressed the President of the Government.
