Renovation works at Chamartín have been completed following investment of €560 million in improving commuter rail operations, doubling the number of high-speed rail tracks and constructing new concourses and common areas for passengers.The works were carried out in phases, keeping the station operational. The new concourse has been open since 2 June 2026.
