This agreement establishes a framework to boost investment in areas of high economic and social impact for both countries. With an initial term of five years, the partnership covers a wide range of key sectors, including industry, agriculture, energy, infrastructure, logistics, technology and tourism.

The Memorandum provides for mechanisms for the exchange of technical knowledge, advice and experiences, as well as the identification of investment opportunities and the development of joint projects.

The signing of this Memorandum reflects the shared desire of Spain and Oman to consolidate their economic and trade relations. The stable development of bilateral trade and investment since 2020 confirms the great potential to intensify ties between both countries.
