Furthermore, it demands the commitment of the state of Puebla to open an investigation to clarify the facts and to identify and punish the perpetrators and masterminds of this unspeakable murder to prevent it from going unpunished.
The Government also calls on the relevant Mexican authorities, at federal and state level, to deploy all possible efforts to effectively protect human rights defenders so that they can carry out their work without putting their lives at risk.
