More than 24,000 people from Ukraine have been assisted by the reception system, according to Situation Committee data

The meeting was attended by representatives of the ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defence, Interior, Transport, Labour, Economic Affairs, Ecological Transition, Industry, Finance, Agriculture, Territorial Policy and Inclusion, as well as representatives of the Department of National Security of the Presidency of the Government, the National Intelligence Centre, the Cabinet of the Presidency of the Government and the Secretary of State for Communication.

The Situation Committee discussed the work of the various groups set up to deal with cyber-security, the implementation of sanctions against Russia and the reception of refugees. Regarding the latter, it was reported that more than 24,000 people have been assisted by the reception system and 15,706 applications for temporary protection have been formalised, of which 1,969 were processed yesterday alone. Furthermore, as of 23 March, an estimated 3,605 displaced Ukrainian students are estimated to be enrolled in school in Spain.
