Spain has performed more than 7.6 million PCR tests since start of pandemic

Over the last seven days, between 4 and 10 September, the regional governments have performed 631,238 PCR tests. This is a 9% increase in the number of this type of test performed, to stand at a rate of 162.93 PCR tests per 1,000 inhabitants.

In addition, the regional governments have also reported a total of 2,320,953 rapid antibody tests, 35,894 of them between 4 and 10 September, at a rate of 49.28 tests per 1,000 inhabitants.

Furthermore, 761,849 antibody blood tests have also been performed, 102,377 from 4 to 10 September, 16% up on the previous week, at a rate of 16.18 per 1,000 inhabitants.

In total, 10,756,835 diagnostic tests for COVID-19 have been performed since the start of the epidemic, of which 769,509 correspond to the week up to 10 September.
