Cabinet from 7 June to date
On 1 June 2018, the vote of no confidence is passed, presented in the Lower House of Parliament by the Socialist Group against the government of Mariano Rajoy. Consequently, Pedro Sánchez Pérez-Castejón is invested as the new President of the Government and Mariano Rajoy is removed from office. The government of Mariano Rajoy remains as a caretaker government until 7 June.
On 2 June, the Official State Gazette (Spanish acronym: BOE) publishes the Royal Decree with the appointment of Pedro Sánchez Pérez-Castejón as President of the Government, the seventh of the democracy. He is sworn into office before the King at Zarzuela Palace on the same day.
On 6 June, the new President of the Government announced the composition of his government at Moncloa Palace.

On 7 June, the BOE publishes the Royal Decree appointing the Vice-President of the Government and the Royal Decree appointing his Cabinet ministers, who are sworn into office before the King at Zarzuela Palace.
