They discussed a number of issues on the international agenda, especially now that Spain holds a non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council. These issues included the crisis in Ukraine in light of the new Minsk Agreements, the fight against Jihadism and the situation in the Middle East, the Maghreb and the Sahel. They also spoke about relations between the EU and Latin America.
