The two leaders also expressed their interest in ensuring that these negotiations successfully lead to a framework of cooperation and transparency on tax issues.

President of the Government Rajoy offered to lend Spain's support to the negotiations Andorra has instituted with the European Union in order to gain full access to its internal market, as a continuation of the Free Trade Agreement signed with the European Council in December 2013, to the Head of Government of Andorra.

In turn, the Head of Government of Andorra has undertaken to provide his country's support to Spain's candidature to the United Nations Security Council.

The meeting, held in a climate of cordiality and understanding, served to highlight the good state of relations between the two countries. In this regard, the Head of Government of Andorra invited the President of the Government to visit Andorra before the end of the year and agreed to look for a date for this official visit, which will be the first to be made by a president of the Government of Spain to the Principality.
