Spain and Morocco will collaborate in area of museums

These MoUs establish a framework for promoting the exchange of experiences, information and good practices in the running of museums and museum collections; fostering reciprocal knowledge of the collections in the museums of the two countries, and collaborating on the organisation of a temporary exhibition of shared historical heritage between Morocco and Spain at the National Archaeological Museum.

For its part, the Reina Sofia National Art Centre and Museum and the National Museums Foundation of the Kingdom of Morocco will work together to organise an exhibition at the museum in Madrid on modern Moroccan art. The display will be accompanied by a programme of activities (lectures, publications, training courses, etc.) to publicise the rich artistic expression of modern-day Morocco.
