The Government of Spain expresses its deepest sympathies to the families and colleagues of the peacekeepers who lost their lives and passes on its condolences to the United Nations and to the authorities of Chad and Mali. It also hopes that the person injured enjoys as speedy and full a recovery as possible.
Spain trusts that the authors of this crime will be swiftly brought to justice and reaffirms its support for MINUSMA and the peace and reconciliation process among the Malian people.
