The Government of Spain expresses its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wishes those injured a full and speedy recovery. It also conveys its support for the Afghan people and authorities in combating the scourge of terrorism.
The government reiterates its full commitment to the fight against terrorism in any shape or form and takes this opportunity to recall the important and unavoidable work being undertaken by NATO, through the mission Resolute Support (RSM), which is on the ground at the request of the Afghan Government, to establish peace and security, which will bring about national reconciliation and the prosperity of the Afghan people.
