The Government of Spain conveys its deepest sympathies to the families of the victims and wishes those injured a full and speedy recovery, and declares its solidarity with the people and authorities of Somalia.
The government likewise expresses its support for the work of the Somali authorities and the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) in their fight against terrorism, particularly against the terrorist group al-Shabaab, in the hope that this will bring about peace and stability in the country.
