Spain welcomes agreement between Government of Mozambique and Renamo

Spain expresses its satisfaction at the ceasefire agreement reached between the Government of Mozambique and the Renamo opposition party on 24 August, which will hopefully bring to an end the sporadic confrontations in the country and will allow the upcoming elections to be held with certain guarantees.
