Lower House of Parliament, Madrid
Following the general elections held on 10 November 2019, and in accordance with the Royal Decree to call Parliament published on 24 September, the sessions to constitute the Upper and Lower Houses of Parliament for the 14th Legislature took place on Tuesday, 3 December.
Meritxell Batet was elected as Speaker of the Lower House and Pilar Llop as Speaker of the Upper House, both in the second round of voting.
