Trade allocates 829,000 euros to strengthen the Spanish Chambers of Commerce abroad

This aid is aimed at strengthening Spanish Chambers of Commerce abroad and Federations of Chambers officially recognised as consultative bodies and collaborators of the Spanish public administration.

For the Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, "it is essential to join the digital world to successfully face internationalisation, as it opens up opportunities to create new businesses, as well as being more competitive and resilient. In this context, the Spanish Chambers of Commerce and official federations abroad play a key role in helping and advising our companies to open up to the foreign market".

The purpose of this aid is to contribute to the digital transformation and modernisation of these Chambers of Commerce in order to strengthen their communications systems and online services to improve the competitiveness of Spanish companies abroad, in line with the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

The application period is 20 working days from the day following publication of this extract of the call in the BOE.

Applications for aid can be made through the Ministry for Industry, Trade and Tourism's 'Electronic Procedures' website.
