Spain urges all Bolivian politicians to work through institutional and peaceful channels to ensure that, by invoking fresh elections, confidence can be restored in the election process as a channel for the democratic expression of the will of the people.
The Government of Spain once again urges all parties to refrain from actions that may foster division among the people of Bolivia and incite violence, which has already left three people dead and hundreds injured.
Spain declares its full disposition to support these efforts to the extent that they are required.
