For the event that the United Kingdom will withdraw from the EU without an agreement on 13 April 2019 at 00:00 CET, the Secretariat-General of the Commission will set up a Brexit Call Centre for questions from EU27 Permanent Representations and experts in national authorities.

This service will cover the entire withdrawal weekend as from Friday 12 April 2019 20:00 to Monday 15 April 09:00, and during the following week (weekdays 15-19 April 2019 from 09:00 to 20:00).

While your administrations will in many cases be best placed to address practical issues related to the withdrawal, the Brexit Call Centre will be at your disposal to answer questions that could not be solved either locally by your national experts, or by you and your colleagues at the level of your Representation. The SG Brexit Preparedness Group members will respond and will do their utmost to reply to your questions or to redirect your call to a Brexit expert in the relevant service. Please note that for practical reasons, the calls will be answered in English and French only. We recommend that you centralise national queries for the Commission at a single point of contact in your capital and/or at your Representation, and share the contact details of the Commission Brexit Call Centre with those single points of contact only.

The phone number of the Brexit Call Centre during its planned period of operation (see above) is +32 (0)2 29 74471. You can also contact it by email at EC-BREXIT-HELPDESK@ec.europa.eu.

If the European Council (Art. 50) takes a decision that would lead to the withdrawal of the United Kingdom not becoming effective as of 13 April 2019, the Call Centre service for Member States will not be provided during that weekend.
