The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and the Director of the International Organization for Migration, António Vitorino, held a bilateral meeting during the United Nations Inter-governmental Conference on Migration, during which they exchanged points of view. Pedro Sánchez and António Vitorino consider that the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration is a milestone in the history of the UN because no one country can deal with a global challenge such as migration by itself.
