​Mariano Rajoy expresses his sincere condolences to Alexis Tsipras over the tragic consequences of the flooding in Greece

"Dear Prime Minister,

In my own name and on behalf of the Government of Spain, I wish to express our sincere condolences at the tragic consequences of the flooding in the municipalities of Mandra, Nea Peramos and Megara, in the prefecture of Attica, leaving many people dead.

I would ask that you pass on our deepest sympathies and condolences to the families of the victims and our best wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured.

Greece has the support and solidarity of the Government of Spain at this difficult time.
