​Meeting between President of the Government and State Councillor of People's Republic of China

The two politicians observed a significant increase in the flow of exports from Spain to China over the last two years, in particular in the agri-food sector.

The President of the Government and State Councillor Yang welcomed the increased recorded in the number of Chinese tourists to Spain in recent years, partly because of improved air connections between the two countries (from four up to 26 direct weekly flights in just four years).

The two politicians also addressed important current affairs issues, particularly the crisis on the Korean Peninsula, and exchanged points of view regarding a possible State visit by the Chinese President, Xi Jinping, to our country in 2018.
