​Mariano Rajoy sends condolences to President of Ecuador on victims of bus accident

"Dear President,

I wish to convey, in my own name and on behalf of the Government of Spain, my sincere condolences and solidarity with the people of Ecuador at this time of great pain following the news of this unfortunate traffic accident on Friday night on a bus route between Quito and La Maná, which took the lives of at least 14 people and left many others injured.

I would be very grateful, Mr President, if you could pass on our deepest sympathies and affection to the families of the victims, and wish all those people injured in this tragic accident a speedy recovery.

I take this opportunity to express my warmest regards and deepest personal respect".
