I write to you, with great regret, in my own name and on behalf of the Government of Spain, to express our strong condemnation of the dreadful terrorist attack carried out yesterday on the Sufi shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, in Sindh province, which left more than 70 dead and a further 300 others injured.
Together with the solidarity of the Spanish authorities, I also wish to express our deepest sympathies over the victims of this attack, and pass on our best wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured, sentiments I would ask that you convey to the families of the victims.
