Mariano Rajoy sends President of Colombia his congratulations over peace agreement reached with FARC

President Santos thanked Spain for its contribution to the UN mission to be deployed in implementation of the agreement, and invited Mariano Rajoy to attend the signing of this agreement.

Juan Manuel Santos made his last State visit to Spain in March 2015, and met with Mariano Rajoy at Moncloa Palace. The two leaders signed several collaboration agreements and spoke, among other issues, about the peace process in Colombia, for which Mariano Rajoy reiterated his support.
