President of the Government congratulates Jewish community on celebration of Rosh Hashanah

"On the occasion of the Rosh Hashanah festivities to celebrate the start of year 5775 in the Jewish calendar, I wish to congratulate, in my own name and on behalf of all the people of Spain, the Jewish community in Spain, and in Israel and throughout the rest of the world.

The start of a new year is always an ideal moment to take stock and make decisions for the future. In this regard, and following months of hard suffering, I hope that in this New Year it will be possible to reach the highly sought-after and necessary peace between Israel and Palestine resulting in a climate of stability and prosperity for the region.

With this goal in mind, I want to wish all the Jewish communities happy and prosperous festivities to be shared with their loved ones".
