Spain welcomes the decision by the President of The Gambia not to withdraw from the Rome Statute

The government takes this opportunity to reiterate its support for the International Criminal Court and its goal of achieving universality in all countries on all continents, and urges those States that are part of the Statute to maintain that status and to those that are not part of it to take the appropriate steps to sign up.
