To do so, the institutional stand of 96 square metres in Hall 5 will host the National Association of Canned Fish and Shellfish Producers of Spain (ANFACO-CECOPESCA), the Business Association of Marine Crop Producers of Spain (APROMAR) and the Spanish Association of Fish and Aquaculture Product Wholesalers, Importers, Processers and Exporters (CONXEMAR).

These associations will be accompanied by various companies from various sub-sectors of the fresh, frozen, canning and marine aquaculture fish product sector with quality and innovative products, such as fresh eco-friendly sea bass and fresh vacuum-packed pre-cooked convenience foods.

The stand will also present the list of Spanish Fish Producer Organisations and the fish species they fish and commercialise in order to highlight the value of these entities that are considered a fundamental tool for sustainable production and improving profitability in the fisheries sector.

The ministerial department will organise a programme of business meetings and invite all Spanish companies taking part in the trade fair, preparing lists of possible trading partners according to the needs of each one and with a selection of importer, agent and distributor contacts that best suit their needs. The programme includes individual interviews with importers from other countries, reports on the product or service in the target market and practical information on the country of origin.

Fish International Trade Fair

The Bremen trade fair is considered as an excellent business platform for trade and gastronomy. Almost 11,000 buyers and vendors from 40 countries attended the event last year, where they were able to contact a total of 230 exhibiting companies.

The first symposium for the food trade sector will also be held under the title of "Perspectives on the Fishing Industry". In turn, the aquaculture sector will have an exhibition area focused on equipment and technology, and various seminars will be held to further explore the various aquaculture practices.

At the same time and following its launch in 2014, the GASTRO IVENT fair will be organised again to offer a wide range of products and technology solutions for restaurateurs, suppliers and hoteliers. Food and drink products of a high quality will be presented as part of this product range.
