Spain condemns the launch of a long-distance rocket by North Korea

This launch is a serious threat to international peace and security and gravely compromises stability on the Korean Peninsula and throughout the region.

In its role as a member of the Security Council, the Government of Spain is firmly committed, along with the rest of the international community, to providing a swift and tough response to this new violation of international law by the DPRK.
