The Government of Spain conveys its condolences to the families of the victims and wishes all those injured a speedy recovery.
The government reiterates its support for the mediation efforts of the United Nations in the conflict in Yemen and urges all the parties involved to negotiate in good faith in order to achieve an inclusive and lasting political solution that brings an end to the tragic, serious crisis ravaging the country and thereby offer an opportunity for Yemen to tackle the enormous challenges it faces with a chance of success, both those of a humanitarian, economic and social nature and in the fight against terrorism.
